USA Shooting Stars

Many players need help to showcase their skills during the intense tryout process or competitive soccer environment, making it hard for clubs to recognize them. USA Shooting Stars offers a unique approach designed for USA Stars Grassroots Players who need more time to develop their soccer fundamentals.

USA Shooting Stars helps young players become independent decision-makers passionate about the game. The USA Stars Grassroots Program creates a fun, challenging, and reality-based, player-centered environment. Our goal is for every player to enjoy the sport, build authentic relationships, and become good citizens in their community.

We want players to remain with the same club from the beginning of their journey to their peak potential in soccer, avoiding the stress of switching clubs every season and enduring tryouts. We believe in providing clear pathways within our club, and USA Shooting Stars is part of the progression after the USA Stars Grassroots Program.

Recognizing that

Recognizing that each player grows, matures, and develops at their own pace, we allow our grassroots players to remain in the club and refine their soccer fundamentals in a consistent training environment. This prepares them to move to our club’s competitive teams when ready. 

  • We have designated age groups that align with USA Stars Grassroots: U6, U8, and U12.
  • The season begins on March 10, 2025, and practices are held weekly on Mondays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.
  • We follow the club's holiday schedule and observe winter, spring, and summer breaks.
  • Registration is by invitation only and costs $150 per month.

What is The USA Stars Grassroots Program?

The USA Star Grassroots program is a foundational program designed to introduce our youngest players to the sport and provide them with an alternative route to the competitive player development pathway, which allows them to matriculate at the pace of their individual development.

  • Fun, healthy introduction to the sport of soccer
  • Soccer-specific Physical literacy
  • Homegrown Coach education and development
  • Introduction to small-sided games
  • Age-appropriate skill acquisition and development
  • Homegrown talent base for competitive teams U6-U12
